Developed in 2013, in San Antonio Texas, ADAPT was founded by Peter DeWitt and Morgan Penix. Both with an extensive background in Design and Architecture, they had the drive to create a firm that would bring a sense of ease to an often arduous process. ADAPT design & build is not simply creating a design and passing it off to a contracting and construction team, ADAPT is your entire team from the very first line in a design, to the very last nail going into place, ADAPT has been crafted into a virtual "one stop shop" that keeps the entire process of creating your dream home and spaces as timely and seamless as possible.
Mr. DeWitt obtained his degree in architecture from the University of Wisconsin and has been working as an architect in San Antonio, Texas for over 27 years. And while he has become known in the field for his high architectural standards, he also brings his extensive background in construction to each project. This hands on knowledge is just one detail that seperates ADAPT from many other firms.
Morgan Penix brings with her not only her Masters Degree in Archticture from Texas Tech University, but also an extensive background in architectural design.
Partnered in Business with Peter DeWitt long before ADAPT was developed, Mrs. Penix was bringing her sense of warmth and comfort to each design they worked on. Now, as Co-owners of ADAPT design & Build, they jointly bring their combined decades of experience and talent to a wide range of clientele.
